Board members take part in the day-to-day operation of the theatre. If you have been a volunteer for at least six months and have a greater interest in the organization, consider serving on the board of directors.
There are once a month board meetings and board members are asked to participate on two committees, such as promotions, operations, programming and finance.
Managing a theatre is a multi-discipline operation: promotions, finance/accounting, social media and website maintenance, fundraising, food safety/service, data analysis and special events are all part of what we do. However, you don’t necessarily need experience in these areas to apply.
Board members may attend films with a guest for free and receive an additional perk after one full year of service. A set amount of funding is offered for each board member to attend a film festival or the Art House Convergence conference held in Midway, Utah each January.
